A cubic yard equates to roughly 27 of the 1 cu. ft bags you'd buy from a big box store. Another way to think about it, it's about enough to fill one medium size truck bed.
On the day of your delivery, we will drop your compost, soil or mulch in your driveway, unless you specify otherwise. We cannot dump over fences, curbs or walls. We will do everything we can to place it where you want it, but the driver has the final say regarding the safety of your property and his equipment. Please be available by phone the day of your delivery as the driver may need to reach you with last minute questions. You may choose to lay out a tarp, but that is up to you. You don't need to be there for delivery.
Do I need a truck to pick up my order?
In most cases, yes. You could come down and get any quantity you want (bring a bucket, we'll sell you the compost, soil or mulch to fill it!), but in the case you're ordering 1/2 to 1 cubic yard, you'll need a standard size truck.
I have hard Clay-like soil. What do you recommend?
Amend your soil with one of our amazing compost products.
Compost helps improve the health of your soil. In New Mexico our soils are deficient in organic material and microbial life. Soils in NM are typically sandy (relatively large particle size) or clay (relatively small particle size). Compost is effective in improving either soil. It breaks up clay soil and improves drainage, aeration, and tilth. In sandy soils it reduces drainage and conserves water and nutrients.

What should i use to grow cannabis?
Cannabis cultivation techniques vary widely- some prefer a natural, living soil where others choose to grow in soilless mediums with fertilizer feeding schedules. Good news: we can help you to achieve either methodology.
