The same locally made compost, soil, and mulch you love—now in convenient bags!
At Soilutions, we're known for our bulk compost, soils, and mulches. But let's face it, not every gardening project requires a truckload of soil!
Maybe you're planting a few containers, refreshing a raised bed, or adding mulch around your favorite plants. Sometimes, a bag or two is all you need.
That's why we offer five of our popular products in convenient bags, available at participating nurseries and retailers throughout Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and other New Mexico communities.
And here's the best part: Our bagged products are made with the same high-quality materials as our bulk offerings. Just smaller, easier to transport, and ready for your next gardening project!
Five Products for Your New Mexico Garden
Soilutions Compost | 1 cu. ft.
Healthy gardens start with healthy soil! Our nutrient-rich compost is made from recycled food and green waste right here in Albuquerque. It's perfect for improving existing garden soil, adding organic matter, and helping your soil retain moisture.
Premium Garden Soil | 1 cu. ft.
Our specially blended garden soil combines Soilutions Compost, native sandy loam, coco coir, and New Mexico pumice. Ideal for raised beds, vegetable gardens, and flower beds, it provides the drainage, aeration, and moisture retention plants need to thrive.
Soilutions Potting Mix | 1 cu. ft.
Give your container plants a great start! This light, fluffy blend of compost, coco coir, and pumice is formulated for indoor and outdoor containers, patio pots, herbs, and seed starting. It provides excellent drainage while helping roots access the moisture and nutrients they need.
Forest Floor Mulch | 2 cu. ft.
Bring a little of the forest to your garden! Our most popular mulch product, Forest Floor Mulch, combines natural woody materials with a touch of Soilutions Compost. It's perfect for trees, shrubs, and flower beds, helping suppress weeds, conserve moisture, and regulate soil temperatures. This is also our recommendation for mulching raised bed vegetable gardens!
Pecan Mulch | 2 cu. ft.
Looking for a beautiful, natural alternative to rock? Made from pecan shells sourced from southern New Mexico farms, our Pecan Mulch adds rich color and texture to landscapes, pathways, rose beds, and containers while helping conserve soil moisture.
Bags or Bulk? We've Got You Covered!
Not sure which makes more sense for your project? Here's a helpful comparison: One cubic yard equals 27 cubic feet! That's 27 one-cubic-foot bags of soil or 13½ two-cubic-foot bags of mulch.
For smaller projects, bags offer convenience and easy transport. For larger projects, purchasing in bulk may be more economical. Either way, you're getting the same locally made Soilutions quality.
Shop Local. Grow Local.
When you purchase Soilutions bagged products from a participating nursery or retailer, you're supporting two New Mexico businesses at once!
Our products are manufactured right here in Albuquerque, using locally sourced materials and recycling organic waste into something beneficial for our soil.
