Works great as a nice, protective thick layer of mulch, and it's good to have a native material option instead of using stuff trucked in from "who-knows-where." Very much appreciated the ease of online ordering and delivery. If I need more, I'll definitely come back to Soilutions!
Overall it was ok.. some plastic and big chunks of wood were mixed in so not too great for my garden bed. I had to separate and place those on the edges of my bed. I hope it does well as I am beginner gardener. Though their customer service was phenomenal- delivery man was very friendly and amazing to work with! Wish I got his name
So much easier and better quality than hauling plastic mulch bags home. Holds up well. I’ve ordered a lot in the past and I’ll be ordering a lot more in the future. Really helps with weed control in the summer.
Lumber pieces are not good
Everyone at Soilutions was courteous, professional, and helpful. They were patient with us and made sure we got what we needed. Our deliveries worked out just like they explained.
I have used their products in the past and have always been pleased. the old mulch , (not from them) in front yard blew away, as was too light. I've been told their Native mulch "weaves" together to prevent blow off. It looks like it will work, as much larger pieces. Driver dropped the pile exactly where I wanted. Always a pleasure to deal with these folks.
Super quick delivery- and the dog approves
It provided a fulsome woven cover for areas under the trees and around shrubs. The delivery was also nicely suited to our driveway space.
