A complete living soil formulated for directly planting flowers, trees, shrubs, or lawns, our Enriched Topsoil contains 25% more compost than standard topsoil. It will provide your plants with the proper mix of organic matter and minerals to promote healthy roots and strong plant growth.

Our Enriched Topsoil is a great choice for creating in-ground garden beds, topdressing your lawn, laying down before sod, or even filling in divots and holes throughout your landscape. Use when creating a new garden or planting area, as well as for terrain features like terraced gardens or hilled areas in your landscape. It is perfect to use when overseeding and leveling your lawn as it provides excellent coverage and extra nutrients for your new seedlings and existing soil.

HOW TO USE

Enriched Topsoil is a complete all-purpose soil that takes the guesswork out of amending native soil or using soil with depleted nutrients. Your plants will thank you for planting directly into Enriched Topsoil

How to Use:
-Fill raised garden beds, with minimum of 16" depth to allow for room for root development
-Apply a 4" layer to your planting area prior to laying down sod or grass seed. No tilling required!
-Top dress your lawn with a 1" layer in Spring and Fall to reduce compaction, add a nutrient boost, and level holes and divots in your landscape
- Fill planting holes for trees, shrubs, perennials or annuals rather than using native soil
-Use as soil base for terrain features such as terraced gardens or hilled areas in your landscape

Not what I expected

Having read the guidance on how to maintain your soilutions soil (I.e., keep it moist to prevent the microbes from perishing) I was surprised that the soil was bone dry when it was delivered.

Unfortunately it happened to be delivered on one of the windiest days so we lost a lot of the soil to the neighborhood before we could move it from the driveway to a more sheltered area (not soilutions’ fault, just bad luck).

Hoping the soil is OK despite being delivered dry.

Hi Eric, thank you so much for sharing your feedback. The soil/compost is intentionally delivered with a lower moisture level than you will use for planting. This ensures the growing material can be safely transported, unloaded, and moved to your final planting area. However, it should not be "bone dry", so we will reach out to you directly to get more details. Please know that the beneficial microbes in the soil go dormant when conditions become unfavorable, and will reawaken and go to work once the soil regains sufficient moisture.
