Compost Worker – General Labor/Heavy Equipment
$16.25/hr + benefits

Soilutions is hiring full-time compost yard workers to be part of our small but growing team that processes organic materials into healthy, regenerative compost.  Soilutions is dedicated to growing Albuquerque’s green economy that helps our community thrive.  Our team is dedicated to sustainable organics waste management, recycling, and building the best possible compost and soils in the high desert.  Practical environmental sustainability is a rapidly growing field, now is the time to join a team paving the way for regenerative New Mexico!

As part of the Soilutions team you will work collaboratively with managers and other employees to build, turn, and manage high quality compost piles and soils, safely operate, and maintain equipment from small engines to front-end loaders.  Other tasks may include but are not limited to bagging products and stacking pallets, customer service both in-person and over the phone, working with management to monitor quality and maintain high standards. No experience necessary, we are happy to train dedicated individuals.

Requirements

Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and weather
Reliable Transportation
Clear communication
Follow safety protocols; identify and resolve safety concerns
Work independently and collaboratively
