Our Premium Garden Soil is a specialized blend that starts with Soilutions Compost, to which we add native sandy loam, coco coir and New Mexico pumice to facilitate added aeration and moisture retention. This soil is well-draining and rich in organic matter, ensuring your plants have abundant room to flourish beneath the surface, increasing their rooting depth which will in turn help them reach their maximum potential!

Premium Garden Soil is our choice for raised beds where you grow veggies, herbs and flowers. The components prevent compaction and over-saturation, helping maintain oxygen flow while providing ample nutrients for healthy plants.

DETAILS & HOW TO USE

Premium Garden Soil was specially formulated to proactively solve problems with compaction and over-saturation common in raised beds, rose gardens and when transplanting flowers from pots to in-ground. Planting directly into this nutrient rich soil blend will help improve yields in your vegetable and flower gardens.

How to Use:
- Fill raised garden beds, with minimum of 16" depth to allow for room for root development
- Prepare to plant roses by aerating/tilling native soil and laying down at least a 3"-4" depth of Premium Garden Soil over it. Depth of tilled soil plus Premium Garden Soil should be at least 12". Add more Premium Garden Soil if you till less native soil.
- Transplant plants from pots by digging a hole approximately the same size as the pot, carefully remove the plant and inspect roots for root bind, place in your hole, Fill with Premium Garden Soil, pat down until firm and water well.

Most recommended dirt when we asked our community

We ordered a mix of this mix and the top soil. It was easy to order online and to schedule a convenient delivery day. The drivers communicated well regarding delivery.

We did have an issue with the first order as we did not receive what we ordered; however, Soilutions was quick to Investigate and correct the situation. They don't handle the actual deliveries so they needed to verify what we were saying with the company that handled the delivery. Take photos - that helped us with verification of what was received and what we ordered.

The dirt seems very good and we are pleased with our raised beds. I definitely recommend getting product from Soilutions if you need soil for gardens.

excellent product

From 1st contact to followup, was easy. It's always important to support a local business, especially supplying a local product. The delivery driver was impressive in his drop, on target w/little to no spillage. The look & feel was great, but the smell of the rich mix was the clincher! We completely replaced the soil in the raised beds & it was about the perfect amount. Just enough leftover to reapply after watering in settled the beds.(Just a little to share w/a friend). I'm looking forward to playing in the dirt through the weekend & transplanting everything.

Soilutions, once again

This is the fourth time I’ve used growing medium from Soilutions in my back yard raised garden beds. We’ve gardened in our ABQ NE heights yard for over 40 years a (mainly tomatoes and chile), and our soil needs refreshing from time to time. The folks at Soilutions are extremely helpful and friendly, and we get a good feeling doing business with a local firm and saving a bunch of money (and plastic bags!) versus dealing with the big box stores. We heartily recommend!
