FEATHER MEAL

Soilutions Feather Meal (12-0-0) will give your new garden a great start and is the perfect solution for a mid-season pick-me-up! Feather meal provides a slow release of nitrogen to help sustain your plants' needs throughout the growing cycle.  Derived from hydrolyzed, dried and ground feathers, feather meal provides trace minerals, amino acids, and is a bio-activator that will keep your soil thriving while your plants feed.  Great for nitrogen needy crops, trees, and flowers.

Suggested Application Rate:

4-6 lbs of feather meal per 100 square feet of garden space or per cubic yard. Add 3-4 tablespoons per gallon of soil and water thoroughly for new container gardens and potted plants.

As a side dressing, scratch 3-4 tablespoons per plant into the top few inches of soil as a side dressing once a month throughout the growing season. Water thoroughly after application.

Feather meal is not water soluble and not a recommended additive to compost tea.
